Recent Status: Two Suffolk records from Breckland.
Life Style: The moth is single brooded and flies during July, August and September. It is not known if the ova or larvae pass the winter. The larvae feed on the leaves of Daucus, Pastinaca and Torilis from a silken tube. They pupate on the ground.
Identification: The moth is a smaller species of Depressaria. It is similar to D. pulcherrimella from which it can be seperated on external characters if fresh otherwise dissection is necessary. More Info
